Happy Mon/May day! We had a mix of a fun and relaxing weekend and it was perfect now that the semester is (finally) coming to an end. These are all iPhone pics, so nothing fancy, but here’s the recap:

Friday – Date Night Drive-In

Yep, you read that right, we went to a drive-in movie. If you follow me on Instagram, you already knew. I had never been before and it was awesome! The drive-in is actually close to our house and the weather on Friday night was perfect (about 75). We got snacks, leashed up the pup, unscrewed some wine, and parked in the front row for Beauty and the Beast. Since it was so nice, we actually sat outside our car until the very end (because our dog got cold!) and it was really so fun.

If you’re going to a drive-in anytime soon, here are my suggestions:

• Bring snacks and drinks
• A cozy blanket
• Lawn chairs or pillows
• Clean your windshield!
• Wear comfy clothes
• Bring some bug spray

Saturday was pretty low-key. I ran some errands and had some Old Navy Super Cash burning a hole in my pocket so I popped in to see what caught my eye. I love shopping Old Navy for easy spring/summer looks and this trip did not disappointed. Here’s a breakdown of my haul. I linked what I could but some isn’t online yet.

Then on Saturday night we had an impromptu grill out with our neighbors and I tried Zac Brown’s wine – did you know about this?! It was fabulous.

Sunday was spent lounging around and catching up on work. I did manage to make an easy and healthy dinner care of SkinnyTaste. Plus, our grocery had fresh green beans so it was extra delicious. We accidentally made our bacon well-done, but it’s bacon, so it was fine. Here’s the recipe for you and since you have to use white wine to make it, you already have the perfect pairing for your dinner.

Last but not least, here’s this week’s mani! 🙂 It’s Funny Bunny by OPI and is actually the color I wore for our wedding last July so it always makes me extra happy to wear it.
