I get so many questions about whether the website, Shein.com is legit or not. I’m here to tell you it is legit, with a few caveats. But, the prices and clothes are real, so it’s definitely worth a look! PS – This is not a sponsored post and that tassle dress is only $14!

Here’s what you need to know if you’re going to shop at Shein, plus some of my favorites from their site.

First, the clothes come from China. This might be off-putting to some people but I am not bothered by it. However, often times the clothes come without any tags on them so you can’t even verify the size.

Second, ALWAYS pay for the $1.99 return. I have noticed that the sizing can be weird, materials vary, and like any other online retailer, sometimes things just don’t look good when you get them home. So, if you opt-in for the return fee, it’s worth it! I have honestly returned at least one thing from every order and this has saved me a lot of time and money.

Third, check the sizing carefully! If you don’t know your measurements, take them before you shop on Shein. Read the measurements of clothes carefully. There have been a lot of items where I have needed to size up.

Finally, be patient. Sometimes the shipping takes a little while. This isn’t Nordstrom, ok? Be prepared to wait 10 – 14 days for your items to arrive, unless you want to pay for express shipping (which I haven’t done). My items typically come via USPS.
