Hey friends! I have not been doing a good job of keeping up with my “last week’s looks” series, so today’s post is just a big round-up until I can get back on track next week. If you want to keep up in real time, follow me on Instagram.
April is always a super busy month for me at work because the semester is wrapping up and there seem to be endless deadlines and meetings. Plus, the weather is more unpredictable than ever! Last month when I went to Chicago for a long weekend I picked up this long blush cardigan (under $25!) and I can’t get enough of it!
It’s so perfect to toss on over a dress or skirt and was extra helpful when I traveled to DC for a work conference. Can you tell I have a thing for blush, black, and white??
I had the privilege of attending an awards luncheon for a work project that I am a part of. However, the luncheon required a 1.5-hour car ride each way so I needed something that would be comfortable and stay wrinkle-free. This dress is under $20 on Amazon and I cannot recommend it enough. It’s so flattering!
Although it’s April, we’ve had our fair share of winter weather so layers have been a key for my outfits. Here’s what I wore for a quiet (but busy!) day in the office a few weeks ago.
Due to the indecisive weather, I’ve had to get extra creative with my layers. But I’m pretty obsessed with these two looks that make summer dresses work for cooler days.
I had to go to DC for a work conference and needed to pack clothes that would be comfortable but still look nice and travel well. These two outfits were perfect!
Finally, I’ve been hoping that if I dress like Spring, it will eventually show up. So here was my attempt at willing the Spring weather to appear.
That’s all for this round-up – let me know which look you liked!
