Hi friends! Last week I decided that for the summer I am going to commit to doing 100 miles of conscious exercise (walking, jogging, biking, hiking, etc.) and thought some of you would like to join me. So, for those of you who want to play along, I’m including my free printable and more info below.
Here’s a free printable so you can track your miles and be sure to tag me (@thephdivablog) and use the hashtag #100milesofsummer on Instagram 🙂
I have tried this and failed many times before, but never during the summer months when I actually have the most time to do it and when the weather is the most cooperative.
I really love this challenge because although I track my daily steps I don’t always make time for conscious exercise and am extremely guilty of making excuses. For some reason, this goal really keeps me on track and I love listening to audiobooks, podcasts, and my own thoughts while I log a few miles. I don’t track my daily steps toward this challenge and I only track the miles I log when I actually commit to getting outside solely for fitness.
I print out the tracker, hang it on my fridge, and then use little star stickers to mark off each mile. I love getting to put new stickers on after each walk and really seeing the progress toward the goal, which I never get through an app on my phone or in a traditional gym setting.
I’d love for you to join me in doing this and use the hashtag #100milesofsummer with me on Instagram – good luck!!
