Christmastime Mulled Wine


Happy Friday! I’m back with another festive cocktail for you and this one is perfect for entertaining. This Christmastime Mulled Wine (see what I did there??) can be made a few hours before a party, kept warm on your stove or in a crockpot, and then served to your guests.


Here’s what you need for 6 servings:

  • 1 bottle (750 fl oz.) Red Wine – cabernet sauvignon or zinfandel work best
  • 2 cups Apple Cider
  • 1/4 cup Brandy
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 5 Whole Cloves
  • 4 Cardamom Pods
  • 3 Cinnamon Sticks
  • Orange slices

Add everything to a large pot or slowcooker, stir, and cook on low (or warm) for 30 minutes to 1 hour. After 1 hour, simply keep warm for serving.

Serve with an orange slice garnish and cinnamon stick
