Hi friends! I’m excited to share the plan for my office refresh with you today. Since we moved in (at the beginning of the year) my office has just been sitting and sitting and sitting. All the boxes were unpacked, but that’s literally it. I decided to spare you the “before” photos of the stuff-swamp that it currently is.

One of the biggest changes I’m making is getting rid of a big IKEA bookcase I have. In our previous place, this fit inside a closet which was so great. But in this house, it doesn’t fit so we are installing closet shelves and tossing the bookcase. Instead, I’m hoping to add a console table which will provide style and function within the space.

It is a small room, but perfect for an office. I want it to feel really light and bright. In addition to the pieces above, I’m planning to add some white shag (I can’t live without it!) and a big gallery wall above the console table. The chandelier is already up, and my desk and chair I previously had, so those are ready to go.
