Top 5 Cold Weather Clothes

Hey friends! Despite all the spring styles popping up in stores, we are still a few months away from consistently warmer temps. So, I wanted to share my top 5 cold weather clothes with you to keep you warm over the next several weeks. These are all items I have and absolutely love and could not survive winter without!

1. Patagonia Fleece

This is my number 1 item for a reason! I actually have two – a fuzzy one and a crushed fleece one. I love that they’re pullovers without hoods (those bulk up in my coat) and can easily be layered. Although they are a little pricey, it’s 100% worth it. The warmer of the two is the blue one, but both are very cozy.

Size up in the white one, blue one is true to size.

2. L.L. Bean Boots

Until this winter I was only a wannabe with these Sperry’s. But, those Sperry’s are honestly more fashionable than practical and I knew I needed something warmer, more durable, and built to last. I love my Bean Boots! I think these are really a love/hate thing, but once I put them on (they’re fur lined!) I fell in love. They have really good traction and are totally waterproof. They run true to size.

3. Vests

Alright, if you follow my outfits closely, it’s no secret I love Old Navy. I have two favorite vests, one is an expensive and reversible Patagonia, and the other is from Old Navy and was on sale for $15! I especially love the Old Navy one because it’s fleece lined, including inside the pockets so it keeps your hands extra warm!

4. Parka

I cannot survive winter without a parka. I keep this North Face parka at my parent’s house for when I visit, and I have this one at my house. I wear it almost every day. Parka’s are key because they help with the wind and keeping your legs warm. They are also much better for staying warm if you have to sit outside.

5. Zip Up’s

Lastly, I’m a sucker for a cozy zip-up. I got this one for Christmas and cannot stop wearing it, it’s SO soft! I also have the Patagonia Better Sweater, as does my husband, and we love them. The better sweater is a little bit lighter in warmth, which makes it good for transitioning into and out of winter. I also love Lululemon’s scuba hoodies since they have thumb holes.
