Happy Valentine’s Day, friends! Last week I snuck out of town for a few days on a babymoon with my best friend in Arizona. It was absolute perfection, so these looks are a little different but maybe they’ll help you pack if you have a getaway planned soon.
On Monday I was busy running errands and getting some work done so that I could enjoy my time off, so I had to dress casually. This t-shirt is soft, long and super affordable, I can’t recommend it enough.

Tuesday morning I had to teach so I dressed up, and then later in the day I flew to Chicago, so I just switched my skirt out with some jeans and tossed on my jacket.

Thankfully I keep an extra winter coat at my parent’s house because it was ccoooolllldd on Wednesday! I personally think the best place to keep warm is inside a great mall, am I right?! 😉

On Thursday, we headed down to the desert! This was my travel look since it was single digit temps when we left. This is literally the softest sweater with great sleeves and it’s only $20!!
When we arrived in Scottsdale we had lunch and then went straight to the spa. Afterward, we obviously went out to dinner, but we literally just got dressed and left so this is not a glamorous look because of my messy hair and lack of make-up, but the clothes are cute! Plus, this shirt is from Target and has an open, draped back which is so so cute!

On Friday we went on a food tour! I’ll share a trip recap soon, I promise. It was 80 and sunny and since I knew we’d be walking most of the afternoon I wanted to be comfortable without sacrificing being cute, of course. I love this shirt that I basically stole from H&M because it was only $10 but I can’t find it anywhere online – so sorry! How beautiful are the AZ blooms?!

We went out for dinner on Friday night so I finally got to wear my Leith dress that everyone is obsessed with. One tip – it does ride up a bit when you’re walking so it’s not the best for a night out when you’ll be walking more than a block or two. It annoyed me, but I still love it.
On Saturday we literally woke up, went to Starbucks, then put on our swimsuits and a spa robe and lounged by the pool all day. It was heaven. I really only got dressed for dinner. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve already seen this jacket, but wearing it is SO nice. It’s like wearing butter, so so soft. I absolutely love the color for spring, too.

I love the leopard and the blue sweater- the sweater reminds me of the 80s!
