Hi friends! Has life been flying by lately for you too? It seems like I can hardly keep up and I’m in total denial that it’s nearly October! Regardless, here’s a peek into my fashion transitioning into Fall. If you want to keep up in real time, follow me on Instagram!

You know those days where you just have a bunch of meetings and need to look put together but you don’t really need to dress up? I dread those days because I always stare at my closet with nothing to wear. But these studded mules are a game changer for those days, and I can’t recommend them enough for jazzing up your basics. But, you might want to size up a half size if you buy them.
This semester on Thursday’s I only teach from 9:30 – 10:45 and then I’m able to spend the rest of the day working from home. This is another challenge for my wardrobe because I don’t want to waste a good outfit for 75 minutes #thestruggle. So, I’ve been trying to dress up my casual pieces for class on Thursday.
Tuesday’s, however, are much busier and it’s nice to have a good excuse to get more dressed up. I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to my summer dresses yet, so I’ve been slowly transitioning them over to Fall. It certainly helps that despite what the calendar says, it’s still in the 80’s.

Don’t you just love how confident a good pencil skirt can make you feel? I loved this easy and traditional outfit, and seriously, if you don’t have a leopard belt, get one ASAP!

Please tell me you’re just as obsessed with Target as I am? I actually have a very strong, perhaps toxic love/hate relationship with it, but that’s for another time. When it comes to clothes and shoes, though, it’s typically always love.

This dress from Amazon, that is under $25, is the perfect everyday dress and comes in a lot of colors. I love the army green for Fall but I’m also going to buy it in black too.
And finally, in another effort to stretch my summer wardrobe into fall, I’m testing the versatility of summer sweaters. This one passed the test, and loved it paired with these (elastic-waist) dress pants!

Here’s to a new week – hope you have a great one!
