Last Week’s Looks vol. 7

Happy Monday! Here’s a recap of life lately through my looks. It’s been a weird mix of super busy and strangely calm, which is sort of reflected in my outfits. I was so excited to wear this dress that you may have seen in my LOFT try-on session to the last day of classes. If you buy this, beware of wrinkles!

As any professor could tell you, the last day of classes sounds like it’s the end of a long semester of work, but it’s also the beginning of the summer work! (More about my summer schedule here) So, this outfit took me through my first day of meetings after classes ended.

Then the weather got a little picky but it was a casual day with a lunch date, so I wore my $22 sparkle slides!

If you don’t already have a kimono in your wardrobe – get one! The one I’m wearing here is under $20 and it’s such a lifesaver when you feel like you have nothing to wear.

This outfit is far from glamorous but I was driving from VA to Indianapolis and it served me well. I love these leggings from PINK of all places, but they’re affordable and comfy and come in lots of colors.

I’m currently back in Chicago now, and have been for a week. I wore this outfit to dinner after a day of endless errands, even though I had planned to wear something entirely different. BUT, this t-shirt is so soft and only $12 on Amazon and comes in other colors!

Last but not least was this darling off-the-shoulder top that I snagged from Old Navy. I wore this to have dinner with my best friend for the last time before she becomes a mom!! And honestly, since that night I’ve barely gotten out of my sweatpants and I might also still be watching re-runs of the Royal Wedding…
