Last Week’s Looks: Rhode Island Edition
Hi Friends! If you’ve been following along with me on social media, then you know I’ve been in Rhode Island for the last couple of weeks. I rented a house from a family I’ve been following on Instagram for years and took off to a state I had never visited, alone, for two weeks of uninterrupted work and relaxation. If you’re curious about the house, you can check it out here and I cannot recommend it enough! It was perfectly appointed, charming, and right on the water. I didn’t even get dressed for half the of the days I was there, but nonetheless, here’s a recap of my Rhode Island looks.

Snaps from Siena
Hey friends! It’s another rainy day here so it’s a good time to reflect on my weekend in Siena, Italy. Rather than share all of the details with you, I’m going to let the pictures do the talking. But, if you’re not familiar with Siena it’s near Tuscany and it’s a small and vivacious village! It also has a very unique tradition which you can read about here.
Travel Diary: Lake Como, Italy
Hey friends! I’m back today with another travel diary for you and this is a good one! You may remember that earlier this summer I spent a month in Europe with half the time for work and the other half for play. During that time I went to Lausanne, Switzerland and then met my parents and husband in Zurich, Switzerland. After Zurich, we took the train to Lake Como, Italy (specifically Tremezzo) for three nights and it was incredible!
Travel Diary: Zurich, Switzerland
Hello! I hope you all had a relaxing long weekend. I’m struggling to feel normal the last few days of this week, so reliving some of my time in Switzerland seems like the perfect distraction. I spent one long weekend in Zurich with my parents and my husband. This trip came immediately after my teaching ended and at the beginning of my parent’s/husband’s Euro trip, so we tried to balance relaxation with our sightseeing.
A Weekend in Lausanne Switzerland
Hi from Switzerland! Today I have a great weekend recap for you about the two nights I spent in Lausanne, which is a town outside of Geneva. For those of you that don’t already know, I’m in Switzerland for a few weeks leading a study abroad trip with 10 students. We spent Thursday night and Friday in Geneva, and then had a free weekend to travel, so I ventured over to Lausanne, and I loved it!

A (dog friendly) Weekend in Charleston
Happy March! Over the weekend my husband and I drove down to Charleston, SC for a long weekend getaway. Two of our friends from Chicago met us there and we had a blast. We even brought our dog, so I have lots to share with you. Let me just start by saying, Charleston is everything good everyone says it is. We were not disappointed! It’s the perfect mix of southern hospitality and a busy city, something that two Chicago transplants love. Not to mention all the incredible food, sights, and shops. Here’s how we spent our weekend eating, sleeping, and playing.
