Happy Wednesday! I’ve seriously been counting down for the weekend since Monday. But, dreaming of our new master bedroom plan has been a great distraction and today I’m sharing our tentative plan! But we need your help – will you help us pick a rug? There’s a poll below!
Hi friends! I’m popping in today with a mini Spring home tour. We didn’t do too much to update our place for Spring, just a few updates to brighten and lighten things up. I hope you enjoy! I’ll be back tomorrow with some of my favorite life hacks 🙂
Happy Friday, eve! I know some of you aren’t on Instagram, and with it’s ever-changing algorithm you might be missing posts. So, here’s a round up of what’s been happening with me lately. Feel free to follow me @thephdivablog 🙂
Happy Thursday, friends! I wanted to pop in and give you an update on my office refresh project. I’ve definitely made progress but still have some outstanding items. But, an update was the perfect time to give away one of my favorite prints in my office gallery wall!
Hi friends! I’m back with another reveal today. When we first moved, I was at the Habitat for Humanity Restore and saw this amazing old mantle. I knew it was exactly what we needed to get the fireplace we wanted without adding a chimney (which clearly wasn’t an option!) So, here’s what happened.
Happy Hump Day! I’m excited to share this post with you as the beginning of an ongoing series about managing your career. I’ll share more details about this with you next week! 🙂
As a professor (ahem, PhDiva), I’m fortunate to have some structure, but also a lot of flexibility with my job. I do not have a traditional work from home job where I need to be online from 8-5, nor do I work from home on a regular basis or schedule. My job requires a lot of self-discipline and internal motivation. Aside from teaching, I set my own schedule and my own deadlines (for the most part). So, I’m forced to figure out how to motivate myself and for a homebody, that means figuring out how to be productive without being in my formal office. Here are my 5 tips, I’d love to know what works for you!
Happy Friday-eve, everyone! Today I’m excited to give you a glimpse into our new home. Our kitchen is by far one of our favorite rooms. When you move into a new construction home, you get a brand new kitchen, so it’s amazing. But, we still wanted to make it our own, so we added a backsplash with beveled subway tile. We loved the beveled tile because it gave the kitchen a little more depth than traditional flat tile. Anyway, on to the photos! Enjoy!
Hello! Today I am sharing my favorite, easy, one-hole, no-fail way to hang any picture or gallery wall. It even surprised my husband who is super handy. This method requires NO measuring, NO big sheets of paper (I absolutely HATE this method), and just two eyeballs, painter’s tape, a hammer, nails, and a plan.
I hope that you’re enjoying a relaxing weekend/day off. If not, then I hope you can sneak in a few minutes to shop today! Here are some of the best MLK, Jr. Day sales happening. Enjoy!
